Bahman Rostami-Tabar: Bahman is an Associate Professor in Management Science at Cardiff Business School, Cardiff University, UK. Bahman holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Bordeaux, France. Bahman is the lead of Forecasting for Social good initiative which aims to explore and expose how (where) forecasting can have positive societal impact. He also created Democratising forecasting initiative sponsored by the International Institute of Forecasters to distribute forecasting knowledge for free in developing economies and organisations with social missions. In his research, he has been developing and using models to improve decision making in sectors such healthcare and humanitarian operations. He has been working with many organisations including the National Health Service (NHS) and Ambulance Service Trusts in the UK, International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and United States Agency for International Developments (USAID).
