Alex Terenin: Alexander Terenin is an incoming postdoctoral researcher at the University of Cambridge. He is broadly interested in machine learning, but mostly focuses on decision-making systems, uncertainty, Bayesian theory, and inductive biases. He is best known for his contributions on Gaussian processes, which have won best-paper-type awards at top venues twice, at ICML 2020 and AISTATS 2021.
