<h2 id="flesch-kincaid-readability-tests">Flesch Kincaid Readability Tests</h2>

<p>The Flesch Kindaid Readabiltity Tests are a pair of simple metrics which roughly estimate the ease with which a reader can comprehend a given text.</p>

<p>The plot below contains two histograms summarizing the US grade level required to read the text as estimated using the Flesh Kincaid Grade Level score.  The distributions are drawn from a common list of 1000 pages in English language Wikipedia and Simple English language Wikipedia.</p>
